      What exactly could happen when doing this without a spotter? I mean, yes he
      wont be able to squeeze those last two reps out and instead will end before
      that, but what could possibly go wrong, if it would be a barbell it could
      literally kill him, but dumbbells can easily be tossed to the ground no
      matter the weight right?

    2. dude theyre dumbbells if you cant get ’em up just drop them. bar is way
      different where it can choke you to death

      barebell. As benching 200lb each hand so 400lb in total with dumbbells is
      way more difficult than being able to bench 400lb on a barebell bench press.
